From Adare Manor, Killarney is approximately 92 km (57 miles) by road, around 1 hour 20 minutes by car, making it an easy addition before or after your Ryder Cup days. Explore Killarney National Park, the Lakes of Killarney & the Gap of Dunloe, with the mountains & valleys providing a dramatic change from the Sonoran Desert at home. The Gap of Dunloe is approximately 102 km (63 miles) from Adare Manor.
Killarney deserves more than a sightseeing stop. Killarney Golf & Fishing Club sits beside the National Park & has two championship courses — Killeen & Mahony's Point — plus its Academy course. Killeen has hosted the Irish Open 4 times, while Mahony's Point looks across the Lakes of Killarney towards the mountains. Beaufort Golf Club provides another scenic Kerry option beneath the MacGillycuddy's Reeks.
Go West towards the Dingle Peninsula, where landscapes become wilder again. Dingle is approximately 132 km (82 miles) from Adare Manor, around 1 hour 45 minutes by car, & gives you an opportunity to discover its villages & take in the Atlantic scenery. Ceann Sibéal — Dingle Golf Links offers a genuine 18-hole links experience on the western edge, while Castlegregory Golf Links provides another spectacular coastal option.

The Ryder Cup takes place at Adare Manor in County Limerick from September 13–19, 2027, with practice days Tuesday–Thursday and the three competition days Friday–Sunday.

The official Ryder Cup transport information identifies Dublin, Shannon, Kerry and Cork as the four main airports serving Adare Manor. For visitors travelling from the United States, the right arrival airport will depend on flight availability, connections and the wider Ireland itinerary.

Build in time for Ireland before the first tee: local golf, historic towns, coastal scenery, excellent food, traditional music and the landscapes that make the country worth travelling for.
