County Limerick · The centenary Ryder Cup in Ireland
The 2027 Ryder Cup will be held at Adare Manor in County Limerick from 13–19 September 2027. The three competition days are Friday 17 through Sunday 19 September, following four build-up days.
The event will be the centenary staging of the Ryder Cup and only the second time Ireland has hosted the contest, after The K Club in 2006.
Adare Manor combines a historic country estate, the River Maigue, a major modern championship course and a village with centuries of history. The Ryder Cup therefore arrives in a setting that already has a strong identity before the tournament begins.
For visitors, this creates a very different experience from attending an event in an anonymous modern venue.
The official event information identifies 13–19 September as the 2027 Ryder Cup period, with competition from 17–19 September. Transport, accommodation, ticketing, premium experiences and other event information are being developed through the official Ryder Cup ecosystem.
Visitors planning independent accommodation should keep the distinction clear between accommodation and official ticket or travel products.
Adare sits within easy reach of Limerick and the wider Munster region. A longer stay can include local golf, medieval history, food markets, music, countryside and coastal or cultural excursions.
That is the central idea of this guide: the Ryder Cup can be the anchor for a much larger Irish journey.
Ireland previously hosted the Ryder Cup at The K Club in 2006. Adare Manor now becomes the next Irish host, bringing the competition back twenty years later and placing County Limerick at the centre of international golf attention.
The 2027 event also includes a new G4D Europe-versus-USA contest at Ballyneety Golf Club in Limerick from 13–15 September, adding another layer to the week’s sporting programme.
Check official Ryder Cup information for ticketing, transport, accommodation and premium experiences, and keep independent accommodation arrangements clearly separate from official event products.
Then build the rest of the trip around the places you want to understand: Adare, Limerick and the wider Irish landscape.
